Recently, there have been a lot of things catching my eye in the shopping world. Unfortunately this presents one slight problem...things cost money, and right now I'm practicing being a saver instead of a spender! So instead of going on a retail therapy binge I decided it was probably a better idea to compile a list of items that have sparked my interest and come back to them at a later time.     Dress ( similar ) //  Keds  //  Jean Vest   Last week I got to cross going to my first concert off my summertime bucket list! My friends and I headed out to see one of our favorite bands play and it was honestly one of the best nights. But concert style doesn't exactly fit into my normal style so trying to find an outfit was pretty hard. I usually would have gone for chino shorts, a cute top, and some sandals, but then my friends whipped out their high-waisted shorts and crop tops and I knew chino shorts were not going to cut it. So after many shopping days and countless trips to the dressing room I finally found something I was comfortable in! XOXO, Emily                 

Today I thought I would share my skincare routine with you guys along with some of my favorite products. I have been blessed not to have fussy skin, and I don't suffer from bad acne so my routine is pretty simple. I do my whole skincare routine before bedtime with the exception of rinsing my face with water and applying a moisturizer with SPF when I wake up. The first step in my routine is cleansing  my face free from makeup and residue that may have built up throughout the day. Following that, I apply my cleansing  mask  by Clinique. This is by far one of my favorite masks I have discovered in the past few years. While it is a little bit pricey, it's one product that I am glad I splurged on! After I remove the mask I apply my  toner  which is from the Botanics line by Boots. Applying a toner  ensures that you have removed all traces of makeup from your face, and it's super refreshing. This summer, one of my main goals is to read more. During the school year I find myself not having the time or motivation to just sit down, grab a book, and read. However, when summer comes around I like to take advantage of the nice weather by grabbing a chair, heading out into the sun, and delving into a good book. Here are a couple of books on my summer reading list this year! Past Favorite: As basic as it is, The Fault in Our Stars is one of my favorite books I have ever read, and I would highly recommend it to anyone! This is the only book so far that I have read by John Green but TFIOS definitely makes me want to read Paper Towns and Looking For Alaska. Paper Towns is coming out as a movie towards the end of July so I'll have to read that first! Currently Reading: I am currently in the process of reading Girl Online by Zoe Sugg. These past couple of days have brought cloudy skies and rain so today my style was inspired by my new favorite  jacket  from J.Crew. With all the rain we have been getting lately, the leaves on all the trees are as vibrant as ever! To go along with this I wanted an outfit that was simple, but popped when I stood against the greenery. As a result, I decided to go with an all white outfit, simple gold bracelet, and the navy (of course!) jacket to top it all off. XOXO, Emily

Happy Saturday! Even though summer hasn't officially started, I've been on break for about a week and have already gathered some of my go-to summer products. I started using this blush about a month ago and I am obsessed! The formula is so pigmented that you barely have to touch your brush to the surface to get that gorgeous glow.
