Navy is My Neutral got its start one lazy summer night when I decided I needed a place where I could share my passion for food, beauty, and fashion! As for the name of the blog, it's actually quite simple. Since I knew I wanted to write about fashion on my blog I went and took a long hard look at my closet. What did I see? Lots and lots of clothes with one thing in common...they were navy! I guess you can say I'm a little obsessed, but hey it goes with everything! From that slight obsession my blog was born!

Whether it's shopping with friends, grabbing a bite to eat, or taking a casual stroll down my pinterest feed, there's nothing I love more than inspiring others by sharing what I love! In my free time you can catch me reading, painting my nails, spending time with family and friends, or shopping. Some of my favorite places to shop include (but are not limited to!) J.Crew, Anthropologie, and Sephora. During the summer days you can catch me picking out the best of the best at local farm markets or grabbing a bite to eat at my favorite restaurant. Some of my favorite past-times include: jumping in puddles, watching movies (Bride Wars, and Made of Honor), reading (The Fault in Our Stars), taking photos of whatever catches my eye, and singing in the shower!

Fashion Recap: The Oscars 2016

So I'm getting this post up a couple days later than I intended, but I figured better late than never right? As many of you know, the Oscars were held on Sunday and once again celebs were dressed to perfection. From gorgeous gowns to radiant makeup, they completely stole the show. After watching the red carpet and searching the internet for images of the gowns, I've again compiled some of my favorite looks to share with you guys. Fitness Fun

Happy Monday everyone! I Hope you all had an amazing 4th of July weekend! This year I celebrated the fourth by hanging out with family, going on bike rides, cooking out, and watching fireworks! It's no surprise that over holiday weekends I tend to splurge a little on my day-to-day eating habits, especially with dessert, but hey who doesn't? So, in order to get back into the grove of things I decided to share with you some of my favorite workouts. Since running is not really my forte, I often find myself searching YouTube to find fun and engaging exercises.
