My Summer Must Reads
This summer, one of my main goals is to read more. During the school year I find myself not having the time or motivation to just sit down, grab a book, and read. However, when summer comes around I like to take advantage of the nice weather by grabbing a chair, heading out into the sun, and delving into a good book. Here are a couple of books on my summer reading list this year!
Past Favorite: As basic as it is, The Fault in Our Stars is one of my favorite books I have ever read, and I would highly recommend it to anyone! This is the only book so far that I have read by John Green but TFIOS definitely makes me want to read Paper Towns and Looking For Alaska. Paper Towns is coming out as a movie towards the end of July so I'll have to read that first!
Currently Reading: I am currently in the process of reading Girl Online by Zoe Sugg. For those of you who don't know her, Zoe is a YouTube beauty blogger and personally one of my favorite people to watch. Her book is a "coming-of-age novel that perfectly captures what it means to grow up and fall in love in today’s digital world," according to Amazon. So far I'm twelve chapters in and really enjoying it!
Next To Read: The next book on my list of must-reads is Girl On the Train by Paula Hawkins. This book is described as being a psychological thriller so of course I have to read it! The book centers around a girl named Rachel that commutes on the train everyday. Day after day she passes the same charming houses until one day, something strange catches her eye. She offers what she saw up to police but then finds herself entwined in the lives and events that follow. I can't wait to cozy up and dive into this book!
What books do you want to read this summer?
