Fashion Recap: The Oscars 2016

So I'm getting this post up a couple days later than I intended, but I figured better late than never right? As many of you know, the Oscars were held on Sunday and once again celebs were dressed to perfection. From gorgeous gowns to radiant makeup, they completely stole the show. After watching the red carpet and searching the internet for images of the gowns, I've again compiled some of my favorite looks to share with you guys. This time, apart from sharing the dresses that I fell in love with, I also wanted to share a couple makeup looks that I loved with you. Hope you enjoy!

1. Alicia Vikander: Alicia Vikander has been a favorite of mine at the last couple award shows. Her simple makeup and hair shows us that less can be more, even when it comes to the red carpet!  


2. Kate Winslet: While Kate's dress was not my favorite this year, I thought her makeup and hair were perfect! The effortless curls were a change from her normal updos, and I have to say I think it gave her a fresh and more youthful look!

Happy Monday everyone! I Hope you all had an amazing 4th of July weekend! This year I celebrated the fourth by hanging out with family, going on bike rides, cooking out, and watching fireworks! It's no surprise that over holiday weekends I tend to splurge a little on my day-to-day eating habits, especially with dessert, but hey who doesn't? So, in order to get back into the grove of things I decided to share with you some of my favorite workouts. Since running is not really my forte, I often find myself searching YouTube to find fun and engaging exercises.
