Cruising Around Campus

Looking at colleges can be a stressful but fun process, and after over a year of researching and visiting schools I would like to consider myself a master of the college search process. After finally going on my final campus tour, I wanted to share a typical outfit with you guys that I think is perfect for cruising around campus. First and foremost, make sure that you choose an outfit that is comfortable. Nothing is worse than taking a 2 hour tour in clothes that are stiff and uncomfortable. I chose to go with leggings, a tank top, a light jacket, and some keds not only because it allowed me to look semi put together, but because it was super comfy and easy to walk around in. It should also be said that campus tours are never a good place to test out that new pair of shoes you may have just gotten...no matter how cute they may be! Second, make sure to check the weather before leaving for campus, especially if you have to do a little bit of traveling to get there. If you are looking at a college in the fall to early spring time, consider bringing a jacket with you because some schools can tend to be quite windy when you're just strolling around. My last tip is to ditch the heavy purses and bags in the car if you can help it. There is really no need to be lugging around that big designer tote bag when your looking a school. All I carried around was my phone, and a lip balm and those easily fit right into my pockets! Overall, remember that this is supposed to be one of the fun parts of college so try not to stress about it too much, and just have fun with it!
Good Luck!
XOXO, Emily
